Il Campo – already a classic in urban areas. This paving system has proven its durability on many thousands of square meters of busy roads and squares. Il Campo is a heavy-duty concrete paving stone whose wear-resistant surface is produced using a process developed by METTEN Stein+Design. The result is a structure reminiscent of the bush-hammered or nidged surface of a natural stone with different accents depending on the incidence of light. The irregularly broken edges create a lively joint pattern. The use of colour-matching sands and natural stone chippings as well as high-quality iron oxide colours ensure the high colour fastness of the paving. Over the years, Il Campo develops a natural patina, and the paved surfaces gain even more charisma.
