Good design does not remain on the surface, but thinks ahead. LA LINIA AQUA thinks ahead the water cycle. This innovative concrete block paving - a further development of our elegant classic LA LINIA with a finely blasted surface made of high-quality natural stone chippings - can be used to design outdoor areas that meet the highest aesthetic demands and at the same time have an infiltration rate that exceeds all prescribed DIN guideline values. Special joints ensure that rainwater can drain off particularly quickly between the 8-cm-thick diamond grey pavers, which are slip-resistant and can also withstand high traffic loads. LA LINIA AQUA is supplied in layers of nine different stone sizes. When laid, this results in a varied appearance that is reminiscent of sheet paving in the natural stone sector. The pavers have a CleanTop® surface protection with Clean Factor CF 90, which leads to reduced dirt absorption and also inhibits algae and moss formation; they are frost and de-icing salt resistant.

In order for precipitation to flow to the deeper soil layers and thus ultimately to the natural water cycle, the paving bed and base course also require appropriate water permeability. For the base course, therefore, mineral mixtures must be used that have a water permeability of at least 5.4x10-5 (in m/s). This is the case, for example, with crushed stone in grain sizes 0/32, 0/45, 0/56, if the elutriable components (in % by weight) are 7%! After compacting the base layer, a paving bed of approx. 4 cm of chippings 2-5 mm is applied. After that, the pavement can be laid.
